TERMS OF PAYMENT

^{The prices quoted are recommended prices. For some photos a higher price may be charged.}

^{The prices quoted cover one reproduction according to the customer's description, if no other arrangement has been agreed upon.}

^{As regards computer products, the prices quoted cover one computer version according to the customer's description.}

^{If a photo is reused in the same edition of a publication or in the same version of a computer product, and if the product's content and appearance is similar to the first edition or version, 50% of the basic price will be charged. In case of another or a new edition/version, an addition of 100% of the basic price will be charged.}

^{If the same publication is issued in several languages, 50% of the basic price will be charged for each new edition.}

^{In case of an increased number of editions, other or more extensive use than stated in the price list, a new price will have to be agreed upon.}

^{The prices quoted apply as per January 1st. 2018.}

^{Any fees in relation with the transfer, or exchange of the agreed sum, must be covered by the customer.}

 ^{TERMS OF DELIVERY} 

^{Rented photographic material with a broken seal will be considered used. If a price has not been agreed upon, it will be automatically fixed at a minimum of NOK 5000.}

^{For use of photographic material without permission, i.e. including reuse, a fee of NOK 5.0000 per instance of use/reuse will be charged.}

^{Publishing high-res files on the internett is not permitted. A fee of NOK 20.000 will be charged.}

^{The receptor's right to using photos applies only when the order form has been filled in, signed and returned.}

^{The renting period for the photos is one month from the day the photos were rented. A longer period may be agreed upon and stated on the order form.}

^{The photos must not be rented or sold to a third party, without a separate agreement with O. Væring Eftf. AS.}

^{If the renting period is exceeded without relevant permission, this results in an additional fee of 50% of the price in relation to the number of photos rented.}

^{Rented photos must be treated with care. The seals on slides must only be broken in connection with use.}

^{Loss of or damage to photos will render the customer liable in damages. Minimum rates in case of loss or damage is NOK 5000 for slides/negative colour film, NOK 850 for black and white copies or new photos.}

^{When using material "© Photo: O Væring Eftf. AS, Norway" shall be referred to as the source if no other arrangement has been agreed upon. In case of lacking or incorrect photo-credit an additional fee of 50% will be charged. (For further information, see Norsk lov om opphavsrett til åndsverk av 12. mai 1962 nr. 2, the Norwegian legislation relating to intellectual property.)}

^{One sample of the product in which the photo(s) is (are) included, should be sent us when it is made available for sale.}

^{If all rented photos are returned unused, a fee will be charged for service.}

^{Material must only be stored electronically if this is part of the agreement with O. Væring Eftf. AS. When publishing manipulated photos, this is to be indicated in the source reference with "MONTAGE" or an "M" symbol; and only when permission to altering the picture is given.}

^{Renting photos does not automatically give the customer a right to publishing them. The user of the photo is responsible for obtaining permission from the intellectual property holder or the person managing these rights in the country in question. O. Væring Eftf. AS does not assume any financial responsibility for any errors in captions/labels on photos rented out.}
